Bonfire Masquerade is the fifth book in the Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys Super Mystery series. It was published in July 2011 by Aladdin Paperbacks (an imprint of Simon & Schuster).

Plot summary

From Nancy Drew and her friends are going to New Orleans for a vacation -- she even promises not to solve any mysteries while she's down there! But, when she runs into Frank and Joe Hardy, there can't be a mystery too far away. Nancy and the Hardys begin to investigate a crooked real estate scheme admist the glitz and splendor of New Orleans during party season. Throw in a dead body and intrigue, and there's no time for a vacation.

  • In Chapter 12 A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words, which is a "Joe"-narrated chapter, at the bottom of page 110 and continuing onto page 111, "Frank" suddenly takes over the narration with no mention of either character switching, and then it switches back, about 1/4 of the way down the page to "Joe" again for the rest of the chapter.
