Desmond Quorn is an American author best known for his wittings on the topic of werewolves. His recent best-seller compiles folklore, and superstitions on the topic, as well as chronicling a number of alleged sightings in old records. Quorn lives near Kingston, New York in an old Dutch Colonial farmhouse.
When Frank and Joe Hardy were investigating alleged werewolf in a small the New York town of Hawk River they stopped at the author's home to get his thoughts on the case. During the boys visit, Quorn discovered that he had been robbed of his files on the Tabor werewolf. These files later turned up in a small town newspaper office in upstate New York, having been mailed there by Paul Clermont who was at the time trying to give the current Tabor family a bad name. The files were presumably returned to Quorn.
Desmond Quorn is a tall, slim man with graying hair. He wears horn-rimmed glasses.
