Hulu is an American streaming service majority-owned by The Walt Disney Company, along with Comcast as an equity stakeholder. It was founded on October 29, 2007 and initially established as a joint venture between News Corporation, NBC Universal, Providence Equity Partners, and later The Walt Disney Company, where recent episodes of television series from their respective television networks would be released. In 2010, they launched a subscription service — branded as Hulu Plus, which featured full seasons of programs from various companies. In 2017, Hulu with Live TV was launched. As of the first quarter of 2020, Hulu had 35.5 million subscribers.

The streaming service is now home to The Hardy Boys, a teen mystery series executive produced by Joan Lambur and Steve Cochrane.[1]
