Mystery of the Flying Express is the 20th book in The Hardy Boys series. It was first published in 1941, as The Mystery of the Flying Express, and the revised and renamed edition was published in 1970. Both editions were published by Grosset & Dunlap.

Plot summary

The new hydrofoil, the Flying Express, is a high risk to sabotage, after her owner's business enemies stir up trouble in the public, so Frank and Joe Hardy are asked to guard the hydrofoil on her maiden trip. The brothers are soon involved in a much more complicated case then they expected, battling a gang of criminals, that operate by the signs of the Zodiac.
