Foreign Editions

  • Mystery of The Whale Tattoo was the 4th volume in the British series published by Collins in 1971. While it was originally released in Hardcover, it was subsequently reissued in paperback with a couple of different front cover images. The text of the Collins edition is Anglicized and retype-set so that it features a plug for The Disappearing Floor (revised text) instead of The Arctic Patrol Mystery. The Collins edition also contains no mention as to what the previous case was, except in the book list on the back cover.
