Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys have appeared together in many forms of media, including novels, television, and video games. The first of crossovers occurred in the TV series The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, which ran from 1977 until 1979. Simon & Schuster soon followed suit, publishing 3 Nancy/Hardy-themed short story collections and a short-lived puzzle book series, between 1981 and 1985. However, Nancy and the boys didn't get to co-star in a novel together until 1988 - over ten years after their first TV team-up. The first novel, Double Crossing, was the first title in Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys SuperMystery, and was followed by 35 more novels, and a 2007 reboot/revival of the series, Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys Super Mystery, which, as of 2012, consists of six novels. Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys also appeared together in the last two episodes of the 1990s "The Hardy Boys" series.

Nancy and the Hardys have also met-up in video games. First, Frank and Joe guest-starred in 2005's Nancy Drew: Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon, and 2006's Nancy Drew: The Creature of Kapu Cave. Then, when the Hardys finally got their own video game series in 2008, Nancy returned the favor, appearing in The Hardy Boys: The Hidden Theft.

In 1978, Cookie Crisp cereals offered a mini-sized Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys paint book as a free giveaway. Six books were printed in total:

Nancy Drew & The Hardy Boys Meet The Mad Scientist

Nancy Drew & The Hardy Boys And The Visitors From Tomorrow

Nancy Drew & The Hardy Boys And The Eerie Castle

Nancy Drew & The Hardy Boys And The Secret Cave

Nancy Drew & The Hardy Boys And The Sea Monsters
