Tad Carson is a belligerent youth who had attended High School with Frank and Joe Hardy until he dropped out. He is a close associate of Ike Nash with whom he has been known to return to the school grounds to loiter and bully younger boys. They are both reckless car drivers and own an ice boat together, the Hawk.[1]

Tad Carson appears in The Hardy Boys #8 The Mystery of Cabin Island.
