The Crisscross Shadow is the 32nd book in The Hardy Boys series. It was first published in 1953 by Grosset & Dunlap and revised and re-published in 1969.

Plot summary

Following a clue, after a door-to-door salesman steals the key to their father's file cabinet, Frank and Joe Hardy are lead to an Indian village, where the chief asks for their help. Two men have claimed title to the Native land, and the Hardys search for a crisscross shadow, where they are supposed to find the deed.
