Tom Cruise had talked with Ben Stiller about starring in an updated version of The Hardy Boys at Twentieth Century Fox.
At one point it seemed, Shawn Levy would direct this film, while Simon Kinberg would write the screen play. Former spice girl Victoria Beckham's name was also attached to the project.[1]
Plot summary[]
The Hardy Boys have grown up and are no longer speaking to each other, having been estranged for many years. They are forced to overcome sibling rivalry when they reunite to solve a mystery.
