The House on the Cliff is the second book in The Hardy Boys original series. It was first published in 1927 by Grosset & Dunlap, and then revised and re-released in 1959.
Plot summary
Frank and Joe Hardy search for their father, Fenton, when he disappears during his latest investigation. The brothers soon uncover a smuggling ring, operating off on Barmet Bay, and it becomes evident that the mysterious, seemingly haunted, house on the cliff is connected to the case.
