The Mystery of the Aztec Warrior is the 43rd book in The Hardy Boys series. It was first published in 1964 by Grosset & Dunlap.

Plot summary

A handwritten will of a deceased world-traveller tells to deliver "the valuable Aztec warrior to the rightful owner, a descendant of an Aztec warrior." Frank Hardy and brother Joe travel to Mexico, in search of the man in question, where they come across a dangerous crew and their friend is buried alive. Will they find the valuable object and deliver it to the stranger in time?

  • In 1971, Collins in Great Britain, issued The Mystery of The Aztec Warrior as Book #1 in their series. So, in the Collins Hardy Boys series, The Mystery of The Aztec Warrior is always referred to as the Hardy Boys first case rather than The Tower Treasure (revised text).
