The Sting of the Scorpion is the 58th book in The Hardy Boys series. It was first published in 1979 by Grosset & Dunlap. It was the final book to be published by Grosset & Dunlap, with all following titles published by Simon & Schuster, so many consider this the last of the Original series.
Plot summary
Private investigator Fenton Hardy is tracking a ruthless gang of terrorists, and sons, Frank and Joe soon become involved, when they witness an explosion and see an elephant fall from an airship, which was carrying animals of the newly opened Wild World Zoo.
